Hello ,
I've just shot my first roll of film through this leica cl , upon pressing the film release button, it didn't go down which lead me to press it harder aaand the button went down and i was able to rewind the film , fast forward to now, it seems that now the button is stuck on the down position , i've took down the bottom plate to have a better look but i have no knowledge of how it works, can you guys see something abnormal at first glance ?

I am currently also having a look at some repair shops nearby to take it in

Thank you guys

photo shows film transport in position Rewind. When you start to wind now the part marked X rotates clockwise, moves the part marked blue away and part X shall jumps up, transport is back in normal modus. If the part X does not jumps up than there is a dirt somewhere inside, ypui may try to mobilize it by drippimng very small ampunt of isopropyl alcohol around the part X.  If this does not help than camera needs to be taken apart.

Hi Jerzy ,
Thank you for you response , so i tried winding the film and the x piece is rotating clockwise, but the part marked blue is not moving, they are appart by 1mm away so they do not make contact, i tried moving the blue part and the x part does not jump up.
I will try some isopropyl alcohol tomorrow, if it does not work , repair shop it is.

Thanks again Jerzy :D

you may try yet another thing - unhook the spring, move the "nose" down, take some pliers and pull carefully up. Of course isopropyl before you do it. Ther part X is sitting to far in and stuck, therfore it does not move the nose
