I've got, for free, from the makers in China, a prototype of this lens. On the same day that it was introduced by it's  makers, I received a pototype of it as a

gift. With the lens clearly many photos had already been taken. I was happily surprised that I was given this honour.

Along with the lens I was asked to take a few pictures with it and to publish these on the Rangefinderforum, wich I did.

The lens is painted black and is extremely good both mechanically and optically. The only thing missing is a name ring.

This is the only picture taken with this lens I can find at the moment. It will take a few days to get the others.

Wow - I can't say mine is quite as clean and sharp as what I am seeing from Al wide open. I might have a slight softness at infinity at F2 - but still hard to tell. This is from M11  at F8 - very sharp...

Two recent ones taken with my M11 in Italy. The first one (Albergo Gardesana in Torri Del Benaco) was taken with a medium aperture (5,6 or 8), I applied the Summicron 35mm profile in camera. The second one (an Ape in Alberobello) with either 2.0 or 2.8 and the same in-camera profile. There is some light fall-off in the corners (the same fall-off is visible on M4 color film shots).

I applied some moderate corrections (my magenta cast removal profile and a slight shadow correction). Detail is very good stopped down, less contrast than the last generation of Lux 35mm. Flaring was never a big issue. On the M11 is find the LLL a little bit too small (I prefer some more front-heavy lenses).
