Popular Post Jackalope Posted July 3, 2024 Popular Post Share #1 Posted July 3, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm just back from a week on the Southwest Coast Path (Falmouth to Plymouth). I carried the CL with just the 18mm and I couldn't be happier. The little gem sat in a Peak Design Capture Clip on the strap of my daypack, and I essentially only noticed it when I wanted to use it. When it rained, I put the camera in an Op Tech Rain Sleeve and put it in the pocket of my rain shell. Someone on here described the images using the 18mm as "painterly," and I think that is just about what I got. Between the size, weight, and image quality, it is hard to imagine a better camera for long distance walking. Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 Hi Jackalope, Take a look here CL on the Southwest Coast Path. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Torpille Posted July 27, 2024 Share #2 Posted July 27, 2024 I totally share this point of view. For this type of photography, weight is essential and aps-c systems are the answer. Many are moving towards Fuji or the alpha 6xxx and many others have already adopted the smartphone as their main camera.
elambo Posted July 27, 2024 Share #3 Posted July 27, 2024 Beautiful! I agree about the 18mm. That's a very photogenic part of the country and your snap shows it properly.
