I created two profiles: Profile 1 is called VIDEO. Profile 2 is called PHOTO.

I am confused because when I power the camera on, the profile changes to DEFAULT. So what I have to do is manually select MY profile either PHOTO or VIDEO.

Whats curious is when the camera is powered on, the DEFAULT User profile seem to have the settings that I saved in my profile 2 (PHOTO).

What am I missing here? Thanks. The more I use this camera the more I love how it works for me. Jonathan

When you load a profile, it is set exactly the same as when the profile was changed.
Once you made a tiny change to a setting, it shows as 'Default' profile. Maybe that is what happening? Did you change shooting mode, ISO, focus aid or anything else after loading the profile?

So basically, you can use a profile to quickly get back to a certain configuration, then adjust freely on top of that.

The camera turns on with exactly the same settings as when it was turned off.

To get back to the default settings quickly, you can load the Default profile.

Thank you do much. Yes, when I select on of my profiles, say PHOTO, I do tend to change a few things mid-shooting session like ISO, or color balance. Your answer makes perfect sense when the profile goes to Default mode. And yes I have noticed that if I don’t change above settings, power off and then on, my PHOTO profile loads as expected. I’ll have to grab camera and try this. I greatly appreciate your help. I’ll get back to this thread after I test.

Yup. This is exactly the behavior. Interesting you can keep "spending a profile by saving as over the existing profile. I like that. This was also addressed in another thread I started too:

Thanks agin.
