Just take care your nylon strap is not damaging the camera too much. The black chrome above the strap lugs is vulnerable.
Some scuffing is unavoidable though if you don’t want to use tape on your camera.

Yeah, on closer inspection I saw my M10M was starting to scuff so I ordered two from from Elephantsgear.PL. Don’t know how I came across this site. Thought it had been recommended in this thread, but don’t see the recommendation. Might have been in another thread, tho.

I ordered two of the plain black strap for only US$30 each, one for the M10P and another for the M10M. The site permits some customization, including length. I ended up ordering them in lengths of approx 45 inches as I like straps a bit on long. Note, these straps are not adjustable so pick your size wisely. Other straps are available including with customized, color stitching but I chose the simple style. Less is more, as they say.

Anyway, the straps arrived about 10 days later from Poland. At present, I’m very impressed. They appear to be genuine leather and are about 1/2 the price of Rock n Roll straps. Each came with its own O rings and matching leather washers. They were a bit stiff, so I just rubbed some coconut oil on them and they quickly loosed up. They are about 2mm thinner than the standard M10 strap, btw.

For now, I’m very pleased with the straps and don’t have to worry about scuffing. I just wish I’d ordered a third for my M3.
