takar Posted June 20, 2024 Share #1 Posted June 20, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello everyone. I am using summicron M 50mm with SL2-S (firmware v5.2.0) via L adapter M. Shutter speed can be changed in 1/3EV increments, but ISO can only be changed in 1EV increments. I heard that in ver3.0 it is now possible to change the ISO every 1/3EV, so please tell me how to set it. P.S: I use it for still images. I know that you can set the ISO in 1/3EV increments for videos.
Advertisement Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 Hi takar, Take a look here SL2-S ver5.2.0. with M lens ISO setting. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted June 20, 2024 Share #2 Posted June 20, 2024 There is no real need to change ISO in smaller increments than 1 EV. Exposure has quite a bit of latitude on a digital camera - and you couldn't buy films in less than 1EV ISO steps either.

However, since I have been able to control SS and ISO in 1/3 EV steps with the camera system I have been using, I would like to do the same with the SL2-S. My question is, "Which settings do I need to control to enable the ISO control per 1/3EV that is included in ver 3.0?" .
