wilfredo Posted June 19, 2024 Share #1 Posted June 19, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I recently purchased an Epson P900 printer to replace my old Epson 3880 printer. I tested the new printer and it worked fine but haven't used it in the last few months. I started printing again, and for some unexplaianble reason it takes forever to print. I've been using Epson photo printers for decades and never encountered this problem. Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue? Thank you in advance for your help. Cheers, Wilfredo+

wda Posted June 19, 2024 Share #2 Posted June 19, 2024 Could it be the printer drivers or OS has changed during your quiescent period? If so, update the drivers.

wolfewithane Posted June 26, 2024 Share #4 Posted June 26, 2024 I have a P700 (same mechanism as the P900, just not quite as much travel.) A 11x17 print in monochrom takes about 17 minutes at the highest quality and darkest setting with my iPad and the Epson Print Layout app. How long are your prints taking by comparison?
