aspherical Posted June 19, 2024 Share #1 Posted June 19, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) The Leica L mount lenses seem to be going up in price. I've got two Panasonic lenses that work quite well. What about the Sigma art lenses? Anybody have one?
Advertisement Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 Hi aspherical, Take a look here Sigma L Mount 28 mm 1.4: how good is it?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Babylonia Posted June 19, 2024 Share #2 Posted June 19, 2024 As for the Sigma L-mount 28mm - F 1.4 It is only a more old HSM version (in general more big and heavy), than newer models DG DN lenses, including an aperture ring. But there is no newer model lens by the 28mm focal length. In general, the more new DG DN models even are better in quality, than older HSM versions (and more small dimensions, and weight). I have one Sigma 50mm - F1.4 DG DN | Art - lens One Sigma 35mm - F2.0 DG DN | Contemporary - lens I like them both. Quality-wise they are just a small, but noticeable step ahead IMO than the Panasonic lenses I do own. Specially used wide open.

jplomley Posted June 21, 2024 Share #4 Posted June 21, 2024 50/1.2 DG DN Art is simply epic; hoping they add a 28/1.2 DG DN Art to complement both the 50 and 35/1.2 Art lenses. This would be a fantastic trio!
