Was I lucky? I saw Q3 in stock on Leica website today

I requested for in-stock notifications but never gotten any and today, I was just checking their web and guess what.
It was in stock! 

Placed an order quickly as possible and it might have been the last one in stock or maybe it was someone returned idk

 

But anyways, glad to add another Leica after M11 and M11 Monochrom.

I do, however, wonder about the reliability of Leica USA’s in-stock notification system. I was on a notification list for a different Leica product, an M lens, at the Leica USA website, last year. Even so, I started checking the site daily, and one day, in late June, that lens showed to be available, though I had not received an e-mail notification. I crunched some numbers, and did some rethinking, for as long as a few hours, and had still received no e-mail notification. Then, I placed my order, within that same business day.

that's what I exactly have had experienced as well.
I had few items on notification but never received any even though they were in-stock such as M11 silver last month.

Ordered the Q3 last week and would have had it already except for a major shipping company not understanding what 2nd day delivery means. At any rate, it arrives Monday and I'm ready to try it out. My other camera is a Sony A7RV.

Available right now (6/24 7:45pm EST) on the Leica site.  Just ordered one.

I've been on a few lists to receive notices when Q3s were in stock.  After being able to handle one at the Leica Porto store, I wanted to add it to my "inventory."  I received a notice that the on-line store had one so I grabbed it.  Within the next three days, I had two calls from Leica stores.  I received mine late last week:

I too have the book Requiem on my bookshelf…wonderful photos in a time and place I wouldn’t have wanted to be in.

Received the Q3 Monday and have been putting it through the paces to get accustomed to it. Already think it is a great camera. I like the small size, versatility, and photo quality.

In 1968, I enlisted in the US Army and was sent the photo school at Fort Monmouth, NJ.  After completing the course, I was sent to South Vietnam joining the 1st Infantry Division as a combat photographer.  On an operation, I ran out of film and hitched a ride on a helicopter going to Long Binh.  I had friends there with the 221st Signal and bummed a bunch of Tri-X from them.  That afternoon, we rode into Saigon and ended up at the Continental Hotel.  While there, I met Larry Burrows and Mr. Faas.  Mr. Faas nodded and said, "Hello."  I did speak at length with Larry and found him to be quite personable.  I told him about the operation I had been on and, a few days later, he joined us for a couple of days.  A few years later, I was attending college and doing a little research in the library when I saw a Life Magazine with the cover feature, "Death of a Photographer."  I've got to say it broke my heart a little.

I seen they had few in stock in Leica USA today and they are gone now

Since their email notifications never work, I would suggest to keep refreshing their site in the morning if you want one

If you want one, download the HotStock app on your phone and setup the notification for when it comes in stock on the Leica USA site. They will put the Q3 in stock multiple times in one day. Sometimes a couple times a week.
