You will need a USB 3.0 Coupler Female to USB Type C Female Adapter Extender Converter D (about EUR 4 on eBay) and that would be basically all that is needed.

If you want to make it little bit nicer looking this is what I have done:

Connect USB A to a Converter slip 4cm of heat shrink tubing over it and heat it to shrink using hair dryer then glue this assembly to the left-hand side of charger. Looks good and works well.

I was surprised when I attached the same set up via apple dongle and connected to my laptop, it worked! Sometimes connectors like this negate the power element and its useless. But yes, this does work and great for my car which has USB C connections but my friends Hilux has standard USB outlets so I would need the original Nitecore connector. Maybe a more flexible fix is needed for my situation but well done with yours.

Great idea @V23, thank you. I have now made a version for me. I too sometimes need the USB A socket so have not used the heatshrink, just gluing the adapter to the charger itself.
