Outdoor play rehearsal.
Posted here because this is the sort of background (dappled sunlight) the some lenses really mess up). Here it just recedes.

Asking what others think about a lens is not very useful as it's a matter of personal taste so the answers will not convince you to keep or sell.
When you are unhappy with a lens then just let her go and replace with one what pleases you and/or your clients.
The Sigma ART series are all very good to excellent lenses but some consider them as too clinical, but again thats personal taste.
I prefer to have a too clinical lens and if needed add a bit of distortion later than have a distorted photo unable/difficult to recover, but thats me.

At first I thought why is this guy so rational if he lives on an island in the mediterranean, then I saw you were originally German / Swiss and now it makes sense! Lol! Just kidding!

You are totally right, I think I let my self be fooled by all the positive reviews online for the lens, but as you say I think it's time to just admit to myself this is not my cup of tea and let it go.

Thanks for the insights!

The only requirement I have for a lens is to be critically sharp. Everything else can be done in post, but detail can never be recovered if it is not there. Many modern Sigma lenses are fantastic pairs for the 60mp sensor.
