Advertisement Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 Hi bobkatz, Take a look here Leica Mountain Elmar 10.5cm f6.3. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
UliWer Posted April 23, 2024 Share #2 Posted April 23, 2024 The yellowish tint of your Summicron may result from contamination with residues of Thorium during the production; the lens itself doesn't have Thorium glass. http://www.marcocavina.com/articoli_fotografici/50mm_Leica_a_telemetro/00_pag.htm (scroll down to the chapter about the first 50mm Summicron). Your "Mountain Elmar" seems to be from 1932 - is it in nickel or chrome?

UliWer Posted April 24, 2024 Share #5 Posted April 24, 2024 You may try this: Even though the instruction says that 2480 pixel on the long side is recommended, half of this may be better to handle.
