Travel Kit for Sicily

I just purchased a CL, planning to use it as a backup / second camera for my M10. I thought I would put a 35mm Lux 1.4 FLE on the M and a Voigtlander 21mm Color Skopje 3.5 on the CL.

I'm about to leave for a couple of weeks in Sicily, and I'm thinking of just taking the CL with the 18-56 TL zoom and the 35mm FLE (with adapter) for low light. 

For those of you who carry both an M and a CL when you travel, I'd appreciate your thoughts on this regarding image quality vs. the obvious gain in portability.

I've travelled many times with an M and a CL, given how small a bag both will fit in I never gave a thought to leaving one behind though for me it would have been a 50mm on the M.

It depends on expectations. If one is looking for snapshots, plus the occasional venture into an "art shot", the CL with zoom is just fine. It prints well up to 17 x 22, but cannot sustain large crops at that size. Overall, a great travel solution. 

If one is looking for more serious shots, I take a MM for that. It's just got another step up in its capabilities. But the CL is just fine for most things in travel.

Just traveling the UK for 2 weeks, London and Cornwall so far, I have the CL with the 11-23 for 75% of my photos, my next most used lens is my 35 Summilux preasph, the a 90 Elmarit. I also have a 55 f1.4 7 Artisans, a good lens that I use mostly for close work, just haven't used it here. All small lenses that have worked well.

I don't carry artistic mind during travel. I am apt to shoot with AUTO mode (ISO, Aperture, shutter speed, focus) or F5.6~8 if M. The convenience prevail.  It would be CL or Xxx  most of time. But I still carry M and tablepods or small tripod. There are tempting time for M.
