Hazy viewfinder

Hi guys! A couple of months ago I bought this m6 TTL. After using it for a bit I realised that the viewfinder that this fog/haze.barely visible with the naked eye. But showed clearly when I put a light on the back. 
 

I sent it back to the seller and he took it to hi tech. But came back looking the same. The Tech said it’s on the actual glass and couldn’t be cleaned.  Should I be worried of it getting worse? 
 

what can it be?

Does it bother you while focusing? If not, I’d stop thinking about it. If it still bothers you, have the optical system upgraded. That's costly but you’lm be ending up with a camera that's unique.

I wonder what the technician actually tried? If they weren't a Leica specialist they might have made the wrong assumption, or just not bothered to attempt cleaning. I think VF haze can usually be cleaned unless fungus has etched the glass, which would require a new window to fix. If it bothers you, you should probably get a second opinion. If it doesn't affect your use of the camera, it might be better to leave it alone.

It looks to me like the sort of bloom you get when oil or grease evaporates or perhaps if the camera had condensation inside (easy to happen on a damp humid day). If it is it should be easy to clean after the top plate is removed.

Yeah. I don’t know the technician, and whether he tried to fix it or not. Is strange as it doesn’t look like fungus. 
 

might try to keep using it as is. Sometimes in certain scenarios it makes focusing a bit more difficult. But can’t afford to take it to Leica at the moment.

I'd take it to a trained Leica technician (don't know where you live). Even if it is water or grease evaporation, I'd get it either cleaned or have the glass repaired. Personally I can live with minor issues and inconveniences, but having clear focusing is a must in my book. YMMV

Yeah. The seller is a well known Leica seller and he took it to his technician. He told me it’s etched in the glass. But it’s a weird thing as it doesn’t seem like a fungus problem.
