Hi,

Need some feedback from other M11 / M11-P users.

When you set your AUTO ISO SETTINGS shutter speed limit, does your camera always use a faster shutter speed when shooting?

E.g. when I set the shutter to 1/250 in the AUTO ISO SETTINGS, when taking photos it'll almost always be 1/320 when there's enough light. Same when set to 1/125, photos will be taken at 1/160.

This only happens on my M11-P, on the Q3 the set shutter speed is always adhered to unless lack of light.

Demo M11 units I've tried at the store also behave the same way.

Any feedback would be appreciated!

I've given up with auto ISO. It gives me frames that are blown out to smithereens. Like ten stops overexposed. Same with aperture priority.

I shoot everything manual now. I hope Leica can fix this because aperture priority and auto ISO are really useful. But no point having them on the camera if you can't rely on them.

Elmars,   I agree with you.  I think all bugs with M11s should be a common feature.  So no need for any further M11 "updates".  Great strategy and maybe it will be continued into the future.    r/ Mark

This does not happen on my M11 or M11P. Whatever I set the speed at, that's what it does. I just tried it with speeds from 1/125, 1/250, 1/500 and 1/1000. The ISO doubles each time and the shutter speeds show correctly.

OP described a completely different problem as yours.

It's the slowest shutter speed allowed on auto ISO setting.
