Bought this second hand today for a reasonable price.
Maybe a little clumsy, so time will tell if i'm going to use it.

Hopefully the magnetic flap (which also can be totally removed) will help me to not check every photo immediately.

The flap seems like a good idea at first but gets old fast. I use the half leather case on all my M10 except the M10-D and I much prefer it without the flap because it is more practical.

The half leather case is great, I have large hands and provides me with a better grip to hold the camera. The flap just gets in the way.

The little pouch holds the spare battery.
I have attached a nylon-washer to it, always with me for use on the case-screw.
Nerdy-nerdy.

I’ve used the protector with flap since owning my M10-P and enjoy the extra grip as well as the pseudo-M10-D experience when the flap covers the screen.  I liked it so much I bought a brown one when I got my M10-P Safari.

I modded my black case by swapping out the original screw for one that I’m able to quickly install and remove with this flip tab.

Even Leica says that you shall remove protection-patches when using the half case. I mean that is wrong and not at all well-thought.
The moving and bending split ring wear the fragile edge of the half-case, both the outer leather, the seam and the glued-on inner material. I bought my case slightly used. The former owner has obviously not been so pedantic as I am, so I had to fix som wear he had made.
The patches outside the case prevents any wear to it. 🙂
Of course it is time-consuming to align the patches on the outside when mounting the case. So, those who are focused on every second saved, may have another view on this. Add that to the time-consuming original screw and other such things and life is ended long before one have been able to get THE shot. 🙄
