The ‘4’ will only charge if I remove the ‘6’. Mine handles both types at the same time. The newer batt takes a little longer, but that's to be expected. After all, Q3 is being shipped with the new battery and the old charger, and I am confident I was charging BP-SCL6 with the old charger. Agree, I charge new batteries in old chargers all the time. It just takes forever to fill the charge versus the newer chargers. That said expect a long charge time with the new batteries in any charger. I could see the charger waiting for one to be charged first in that instance. Like a charger for drone batteries.
