I started reading this thread in the hopes I would find a solution to a similar problem. I was somehow under the impression that you could set up the SL series to shoot DNG (color) to one card and JPEG Monochrom(e) to the second card. But that option gives a B&W image in the viewfinder. Not a big deal but I would rather see in color and have the B&W option already written to another card. In other words, two cameras in one. Perhaps this could be achieved in firmware.

I wonder if there is an option to review images based on selecting either the CFe or sd?
