With the M-240, the "Leica Image Shuttle" software (not sure whether it is still available) offers the option of controlling the camera remotely from a PC including tethered shooting but you would need the multifunction M hand grip, which I don't own for my M-240P. Therefore, I never used that option. I am not aware of any other app that could be paired with the camera.

Thanks. I must be mistaken then. I thought for sure that I had used some sort of app to control the camera and save photos with the M240 in the past. I'm using M10 and M11 now and I recently re-purchased a used M240. I never used the M handgrip.
