Has anyone had any luck utilising this with a computer for tethering yet? I don't have an SL3 yet, but in theory, wifi6 should be fast enough to tether at a somewhat usable rate.. Excited to see if it works in practise!

It would be possible if capture one would support it, and if you have WiFi 6 mimo on the router and computer.

But the tether cable works for now and provides power at the same time to keep you going longer.

I have not tethered, but download via Fotos is - as per earlier reports - much, much faster. A much better experience! I would expect a similar positive impact for thethering.

same for me - not used it tethered, but fotos via wifi is now blazing fast :)

that was already the case with the SL2.. just wondering if there's something like with the Canons how you can set it to save to a hot folder which automatically drags the images into C1..

actually a friend is at a c1 developer meeting today, i'll tell him to mention SL3 wifi tether!

ps

if you had wifi6 laptop, wouldn't it theoretically be possible to tether directly with wifi6?
