tripc0de Posted March 23, 2024 Share #1 Posted March 23, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello. I am having an issue with the new Sigma wide angle 10 - 18 2.8 DC DN lens. On all the auto focus options the the images produced are usually blurred. Occasionally the image is ok but not perfect. The image does come into focus it seems but goes out of focus when the take button is pressed. Occasionally the image won't come into focus at all. My other lens the Sigma 18-50 2.8 DC DN works perfectly so this is annoying. The firmware is all up to date. Any help appreciated.

roguetai Posted May 27, 2024 Share #2 Posted May 27, 2024 same problem. any help please. when shift to manual focus, i find there is a lot of head room beyond infinity, when set in that head room, images get blurred. i think it looks like sigma 10-18 f2.8 dc dn have a different codec of focus distance. roguetai Posted September 5, 2024 Share #5 Posted September 5, 2024 solved. the lens firmware cannot be upgraded by camera body, so send to local sigma service they will update it in 1 minute.
