01maciel Posted March 22, 2024 Share #1 Posted March 22, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does anyone already have the lens and can show a few photos, perhaps with a S1R? This seems to be an interesting lens as well as a very heavy one.

beewee Posted May 12, 2024 Share #7 Posted May 12, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Stars are sharp out to the corners for Astrophotography. Just a word of caution for anyone planning to use this lens on a tripod with an RRS clamp, the integrated Arca Swiss compatible foot on the lens collar is slightly too narrow for the RRS clamp so you’ll need a RRS or Kirk adapter plate. Rather than duplicate posts, I’ve shared some related thoughts here:
Virob Posted May 14, 2024 Share #8 Posted May 14, 2024 Really would have liked that lens Friday night during that geomagnetic storm. What a show that was!
