The background is similar to Marina Del Rey's, but this was taken at Bolsa Chica Wildlife Refuge in Huntington Beach, California. You don't see it in this picture because of background blurring, but somewhere in there is a mile-long glass wall that surrounds a residential development there. Public were not allowed near that glass wall until recently. As soon as public were allowed in, they discovered that many birds flew into the glass wall and died.
