Leave as it is. Nice picture!!

Sometimes I revisit images and change them or add to them. I know the process to make this image (like most images) was special and I would rather not change anything out of some peculiar and misguided sense of respect for the process. I know what you mean (BlackDoc) about adding black and white as a change and to maybe garner more "likes" which are, always good to get. Many thanks. Maybe I will revisit the image in the future and try B&W but for now it stays as is. And probably underrated as you say.

Best Ken

This forum has no higher curative photography competence than any other place in the internet. Photos with a significant number of likes are about lascivious images of young women staged on a medium level of direction and without any tangible intent other than “beauty”, steam locomotives, shiny vintage cars, or misty landscapes. Sometimes a truly great photo will garner many likes, but that is more the exception than the rule.

Don't do anything. Your’s is a great shot in its own right.

Great lens Ross, I like the treatment on these flowers. I was also using the 50 SL Summicron Asph for semi close ups today. So sharp

Hi,

How well does the SL3 work with the M lenses? How well and quickly does manual focusing work? Many thanks and best regards. Thomas

it works amazingly well with the M lenses.  Focus is as fast as you decide it to be, really.  Rangefinder focusing is fastest with good eyes, always. Hyperfocusng and Zone focusing is unparalell on an M camera, although easy to replicate on an SL with an M lens.

But given ANY added parameters (low contrast/light scene, larger focus range and long distance focusing etc) SL systems will achieve better and faster focusing because of the quality of the EVF.  But it is still your hand and eye focusing, not the camera.
