SL3 with VE 90-280

AFc, People Profile, 4 frames per second

Hit focus and tracked surfers nearly 100% of the time. I was very pleased.

Yes, camo is, in that respect, optimal for urban shooting 😏.

I've now been an SL3 owner for several hours.  Only test photos in the back yard so far but I'm very pleased.  I like the feel in the hand better than my Typ 601 and it feels substantially more responsive.  I've played a bit with the animal detection (not with moving targets).  It seems pretty smart.  I shot some pics with of my dog sitting, back to me, looking out into a field.  It was smart enough to make his head be in focus rather than his butt.  When he's looking at me it seems to do a good job focusing on eyes.

Wedding I shot this last Sunday. I used the 50,75 and 90-280 on the SL3. I love the IQ, the files just edit so well. Q3 covered the wide shots.

I was privileged to take the Leica SL3, along with the Leica APO-SUMMICRON 90mm f2 lens, with me to a Poetry Book Launch a few days ago.  The image was shot handheld at f5, 1/100, ISO 40 000 (yes, forty thousand!). I love the Charles Dickensonian Oliver Twist light the camera/lens combination gave me here.
