Any SL owners using Canon's TSE lenses?

In my 25 year career as a food photographer I switched camera systems many times, started with Canon EF, then Leaf, then Phase One, then Sony, then Fuji GFX and lastly Canon RF. But all of the time I used Canon's fabulous TSE EF Lenses. They can be made to work with nearly everything. 

Is anyone around here using them with Leica SL cameras? As I see there are only two viable EF adapters, the Sigma mc-21  and the Viltrox Pro. Will they work?

Definitely the Sigma adapter. Sigma are L-mount partners, they aren't reverse-engineering the interface.

Several people have reported that they use Canon's tilt-shift lenses on L-mount cameras, but I'm not sure if someone has mentioned the SL3 yet. They have with other EOS lenses, so it's unlikely to be incompatible. TS-E lenses are some of the easiest EOS lenses to support, since they don't have AF or OIS. All the camera has to do is read/actuate the aperture.

I have been using the Sigma MC21 for 4 years with TS-E lens for the architectural / interior on the SL2, I have done one shoot with them on the SL3 and they worked the same.

not sure if I would trust the Vitrox adapter, it is not a partner.

I have found that the Canon TS-E lenses work better on the Leica than many other systems like Sony. The microlens sensor cover glass on Sl2/3 to get M lenses to perform well on SL cameras, make it possible to remove smearing from corners even on the Canon lenses.

i use the original Novoflex SL/EOS adapter with various Canon TSE lenses on my SL 601; this adapter is not compatible with the SL2 series and SL3. Lens aperture is thus controlled by the camera. The Novoflex adapter is not suitable for EOS AF lenses but for manual focus EOS lenses it's fine.

likewise. I've the 17mm and the 90mm TSE on  the Sigma MC21 but I don't use these lenses much. Very good lenses. I didn't compare them to my Apo summicrons though as I don't use them for the same purposes.

I have been using my 3 Canon TS-E lenses, 24mm, 50mm, 90mm with the sigma adapter on an SL2 and S1R for several years with great results.

Great results with 17 and 24 tilt shifts with the sigma adapter even in multishot mode.  Normally shot at f8.

i have used the 50 tilt shift in the past and thought it was optically even better.

just received my mc21. as said above works with my TSEs. I tried it with my only remaining EF AF lens, the Sigma 1,4 50mm ART. it is sooooo slow...

Yes, it is slower, I should try the SL3 and see if it is any better. But I think your problem is that the lens you are using is an older design for DSLR. Is it?
