adam0787 Posted March 15, 2024 Share #1 Posted March 15, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, I've been trying to take photos with distinct colour separation and it's usually achievable under natural light. But at night, especially with screens on electronic devices and in this an assortment of smart lights, it's not great. To test this, I set up a set of nanoleaf smart lights with distinct colours, for example - yellow, pink, green etc. A relatively old phone camera picks up the colours distinctively but the Leica Q1 ends up showcasing only dominant colour tones with nearly no colour separation among the lights. I've tried to modulate the outcome by changing white balance and colour temperature settings, but still - there isn't enough colour separation to match the phone's image. My query: How can I take photos with colour separation under above mentioned circumstances, using a Leica Q1 ? Thank You.

jaapv Posted March 15, 2024 Share #2 Posted March 15, 2024 Make a profile for this particular light situation. Or, maybe better, switch to editing in LAB colour space ( you need Photoshop for that)
