erl Posted March 3, 2024 Share #1 Posted March 3, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) My regular walk mostly includes a camera, different lens, or any component I need to test or practice with. Mostly covering the same territory, but always trying to 'see' something I have not noticed before. I have owned a Noctilux f1.0/50mm for many years. I am familiar with its foibles and characteristics, but have not used it for awhile. It is a lens that demands constant practice, just like an Olympic athlete. So yesterday I fixed my Noct to my M10 with an 8x neutral density filter fitted. I was venturing out in good sunlight and only wanted to use f1.0. The trick is to select a subject that can be separated from the background but will maintain context of surroundings. This is where f1 works. Attached is a series of 6 images I shot over 1/2 hours walk, with Jupiter (my dog) in tow, or was I in tow? Welcome, dear visitor!
