Its all about the backdrop IMO. M9 35 Summilux pre-FLE. Welcome, dear visitor! wda Posted February 26, 2024 Share #2 Posted February 26, 2024 (edited) Paul, lovely colour. But, as you say, if it is all about the backdrop. Why not cut out the distracting foreground, so that the far shoreline bisects the resultant panorama. The remaining nautical interest then remains a 'hint'. Just my opinion. stuny Posted February 26, 2024 Share #3 Posted February 26, 2024 Lovely, and it's hard to select which I like better.
war Posted March 6, 2024 Share #4 Posted March 6, 2024 Thanks for posting both. I thought your b&w was excellent and I definitely prefer it. While the color photo is quite nice, there seems to be a clash between the natural colors of the surroundings and the man-made colors of the fishing boats. It's as if it should be two separate photos.
eleizca Posted March 15, 2024 Share #5 Posted March 15, 2024 I viewed the b&w and it was nice, but when I saw the colored one, my liking for the black and white grew stronger. Thanks for showing me both versions.
