With the m10m and summilux 50a. 1/3000 at 6.8, iso 160. The second image is 15s later, but now at 1/4000. I don’t get what this white cloud is…

Images sooc, and yes, I might need to clean the sensor.

I don’t have an idea, it really looks like a cloud, but can’t believe it wasn’t there 15s later…

As I indicated in my edit of my previous post, I cannot rule out an atmospheric phenomena. There is a visually apparent flat-topped shape, on the sunlight reflecting from the water.

Do you have a filter on the lens? That can cause funny effects like this.

And whether you do or not, these things will often only happen at very particular angles/positions - if you can see it on a live view image just twitch the camera slightly and watch it zoom around like crazy! So it doesn't surprise me that you saw it on one shot but not the next.

It looks like flare (ie unwanted light) probably as a result of light reflecting off one of the curved glass/air interfaces. You are shooting against the light with the light source (the sun) out of frame but over-illuminating the lens sufficiently to bounce excess light around inside it and eventally some of this has caused an unwanted reflection. Such flare can be precisely angle critical which is why it only shows in the first image.
