With a shutter of 1/100 and 1/500 the shutter button remain down after I press it. It happens only when there's no film inside and not always. I solve by rotate a bit the shutter dial. jerzy Posted February 24, 2024 Share #2  Posted February 24, 2024 (edited) Hello, short explanation - inertion of sprocket drum or (most probably) you rotate your finger a bit when release button is depressed. You may reproduce it anytime (without a film) by rotating a finger. In similar way, if this happens keep release button down and rotate it clockwise. Technical explanation: - left picture is in released status, notice position of two pins. When you press release button the silver wheel goes down and rotates (almost full circle) and stops like on the picture. Right picture shows the status when release stays down. By rotating speed dial you rotate a bit sprocket drum and the black pin does not block the silver anymore, release button goes up. Similar effect (rotating sprocket drum) you may produce when you rotate a bit the release button. When loaded with film this effect does not happen, sprocket drum is tensioned by film. Welcome, dear visitor!
