Advertisement Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Hi trevathan, Take a look here V-lux-1. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted November 27, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted November 27, 2007 David - Â The V- Lux-1 is a very good, all-around camera, largely because of the range of its fine lens (35MM equivalent of 35mm moderately wide angle to 420mm telephoto). One of the people we traveled with in Namibia had one (as well as his Canon DSLR, which he used less and less frequently), and got very good results. Other Forum members have this camera, and hopefully will comment. Some have already commented on this thread: http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/digital-forum/38482-leica-v-lux-1-a.html. Cyrshot Posted November 27, 2007 Share #3  Posted November 27, 2007 David,  I own one, it's a great camera, probably way it's on back order at B & H. The only problem I have is some noise in higher ISOs. I'd highly recomend it though, it takes great pictures and is very versatile. The camera has been dicussed a lot in the forum, so do a thread search on it.  Picasa Web Albums - Matthew  These are some of my pictures, all taken with the V Lux
