They also said that Thypoch (pronounced Thai -poch) name is made of words thy epoch, "your era" and their other lens series "Simera" comes from Greek (σήμερα) and means "today" because that other lens series is very modern, very "today". As you know, I am only interested in real vintage items, not recreations. It was only out of curiosity that I asked about avoiding the sensor. I have not bought a digital Leica for nearly 7 years.
