ASyncCat Posted January 30, 2024 Share #1  Posted January 30, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi folks, newbie here.  I got my 2022 Leica M6 few months ago and was very excited about it. But recently there is a viewfinder focus images alignment issue(Not sure if it's an issue) that really made me concerned. That is when focus on the edge of a sideling object from a close range(0.7m ~ 1.5m), the images of edges showing are not showing as parallel. For the fully vetical object/edge, it's showing perfectly parallel and match. Use the example of attaching picture, when i foucs on the up left corner vertex of the touch pad, one image showing at the real edge position from the picture, but another image showing the edge at the position of black line. I'm not sure if it's a feature or bug. jaapv Posted January 30, 2024 Share #2  Posted January 30, 2024 Yes those skewed lines will exhibit parallax. They will be in focus at the point where they cross. There is nothing wrong with your rangefinder.
