zeis Posted January 30, 2024 Share #1 Â Posted January 30, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello all. Has anyone here tested if the SCL6/SCL4 batteries can be mixed when using the SL handgrip? Assuming there should be no issues, but thought I would check here before pulling the trigger on an SCL-6 battery. Thanks so much. Jason
Advertisement Posted January 30, 2024 Posted January 30, 2024 Hi zeis, Take a look here Possible to mix BP-SCL6 and BP-SCL4 batteries in HG-SCL4 handgrip?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Photoworks Posted January 30, 2024 Share #2 Â Posted January 30, 2024 with the latest firmware on the camera, there should be no difference. I had the Grip and didn't see any benefit. Many times the battery in the camera was going down first and had to take the grip off to change the battery. I like the new batteries, they give you about 20% more power

Hope firmware has solved the improper power routing issues, but I am enjoying the ergonomics. And the 20% extra power sounds perfect- the SCL4 is just not enough sometimes. Thanks again.
MediaFotografie Posted January 30, 2024 Share #4 Â Posted January 30, 2024 I used the grip with old and new batteries in every combination without thinking of it - no problems at all
