Hello all.

Has anyone here tested if the SCL6/SCL4 batteries can be mixed when using the SL handgrip?

Assuming there should be no issues, but thought I would check here before pulling the trigger on an SCL-6 battery.

Thanks so much.

with the latest firmware on the camera, there should be no difference.

I had the Grip and didn't see any benefit. Many times the battery in the camera was going down first and had to take the grip off to change the battery.

I like the new batteries, they give you about 20% more power

Appreciate the response, thank you much.

Found my grip used for $220, can’t imagine paying more for it. Hope firmware has solved the improper power routing issues, but I am enjoying the ergonomics.

And the 20% extra power sounds perfect- the SCL4 is just not enough sometimes.

Thanks again.
