gordec Posted January 29, 2024 Share #1 Posted January 29, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I took my M10P to work expecting doing some shooting afterwards. I use a small Gitzo messenger bag. With a soft release button on, it some how turn the on/off switch to on and was firing off without me knowing because the fit is a little snug. At the end of the day, like a couple thousand blank shots went off. Problem is I had it on low continuous shooting mode. If it was on single, nothing would happened after 1 or 2 shots. Lesson learned, keep it on single shot drive mode, remove soft release if it's a snug fit in the bag, or take the battery off during travel. I'm surprised with a single battery you can get this many shots off.

I do feel the power switch for digital Ms are pretty easy to trigger even with out the soft release.
