swimmingargos Posted January 27, 2024 Share #1 Posted January 27, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, I am looking for a top load waterproof camera bag for my SL2 S and 24-90 lens. Would there be any suggestions out there please? Thanks!

Jptsr1 Posted January 28, 2024 Share #3 Posted January 28, 2024 I don’t know of a normal camera bag that is waterproof as in you can drop it off a boat and your gear won’t get wet. I believe you are looking for water resistant? If that’s the case my favorites are Billingham and more recently Wotancraft. Billingham has several bags that will fit the rig you describe. My favorite and most used is the Hadley One. Wotancraft likewise has a couple that will work with your setup. My favorite might be a little overkill if that’s all you are carrying but it’s the new Pilot 18L. I live in Singapore and we get some of the most torrential downpours here during both monsoon seasons. All my bags from these two have kept my gear dry. I have other bags with great rain covers but that’s something extra to do/carry.
Virob Posted January 28, 2024 Share #4 Posted January 28, 2024 For waterproof, check out watershed dry bags. The Chattooga and Ocoee can be ordered with photo inserts https://www.drybags.com/bags/waterproof-bags-and-packs/waterproof-technical-bag or overboard, makes a range of options that might be closer to what you are looking for https://www.overboardcanada.ca/collections/waterproof-slr-camera-bag or LowePro dryzone https://www.lowepro.com/ca-en/collection/dryzone/#products l have only used the Ocoee which works well, but prefer to use a pelican case if possible.
