When you say "in the camera", do you mean in the viewfinder, or on the LCD after taking a picture? If the colors look correct on the LCD screen, there is probably something wrong happening after the images have been transferred to LR.

Remember that the LCD shows a jpeg image. A RAW file will allow more accurate correction in pp.

I tried to do some of this in LR on my phone. It is possible, but very cumbersome. If you're thinking of doing a lot of this kind of editing, I would highly recommend a MacBook with LR Classic.

Thank you for your advice. 🙏

I appreciated it!

I shoot quite a lot under stage lighting, which is often highly coloured even if the eye interprets it, live, as neutral. Since I can’t place a white balance card (my Colorchecker Passport) in the scene, I have to resort to anything I can find to create an acceptable colour balance. I do use the white of the eye sometimes as a starting point, but teeth are rarely any good; a grey beard can be good! I have taken to setting the colour temperature to 3800-4000K to get a consistent look as a starting point - it’s surprising how often it works.

One oddity I have found is that Leica’s in-camera white balance setting for flash is nowhere near the same as Lightroom’s setting for flash white balance - Lightroom’s is much warmer.
