Jim Strouss Posted January 15, 2024 Share #1 Posted January 15, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I recently acquired a used Q2 (my first digital Leica; i'm switching from a Fujifilm x100 T). When I depress the shutter button, the image in the viewfinder seems to 'flicker' or 'stutter', as though it's having trouble achieving focus or 'locking in'. Is this just typical of the Leica'scontinuous autofocus function; or is there a problem?

David Wien Posted January 15, 2024 Share #2 Posted January 15, 2024 Have you tried the non-continuous autofocus mode (AFs)? David
Jim Strouss Posted January 15, 2024 Author Share #3 Posted January 15, 2024 David, Bingo! ... simple as that. I have a lot to learn about this camera. Thanks so very much for your invaluable assistance. I was ready to return it as defective. - Jim
David Wien Posted January 15, 2024 Share #4 Posted January 15, 2024 Glad to be of assistance, JIm! I have found that, though the English version of the user manual is better than most, it pays to read it several times. Enjoy your Q2! David
