MT0227 Posted January 8, 2024 Share #1 Posted January 8, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi there....I shoot in AP mode and understand the F-Stop meta data is an "estimate". I can't recall if the corresponding Shutter Speed is the speed the camera actually fired, or an estimate based on the corresponding F-Stop "estimate". I've also noticed that the darker the scene, the further off the F-Stop "estimate" is from the actual. Here's a frame I shot last evening, the meta data shows - ISO: 400 Shutter: 1/12 Aperture: f/13. The actual Aperture was f/4, ISO was 400. M11-P | 35APO Welcome, dear visitor! Warton Posted January 8, 2024 Share #2 Posted January 8, 2024 Aperture: estimated value. Shutter: actually fired. ISO: actually fired. Always like this no matter what shooting mode (A, or M) you use.
