leicauser89 Posted January 8, 2024 Share #1 Posted January 8, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Other Leica cameras offer both compressed and uncompressed DNG files. My 262 camera does not. When I look at the playback in camera to review images and look at their information, I see they are identified as DNGc. Is this a compressed DNG? If so, does anyone know how to change this to uncompressed?
Advertisement Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 Hi leicauser89, Take a look here DNGc?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
andybarton Posted January 8, 2024 Share #2 Posted January 8, 2024 Is it not on a menu item?

I have looked thoroughly through the menus and have not found any item that describes two different formats for DNG. The file format menu offers only DNG, JPG fine, and DNG + JPG fine. A resolution setting is only offered for JPGs.
a.noctilux Posted January 8, 2024 Share #4 Posted January 8, 2024 No way to use non compressed DNG in M262. I checked in the user manual, only format allowed is DNGc.
