crouyer Posted January 5, 2024 Share #1 Posted January 5, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi there, I have a Q3 since July 2023. Since a few weeks, the colors of the EVF and the screen are really cold, not accurate/realistic at all. I didn't change any setup, and the pictures once downloaded on my computer are good, with the right, realistic, temperature. Sometime when I turn off the camera and turn in on again, the colors are good again, for a few seconds, but then change to cooler ones. Is there any change in the setup menu I made without remembering it that can explain this behavior ? Have a nice day !
Advertisement Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 Hi crouyer, Take a look here Leica Q3 - EVF and Screen display cold colors (since a few weeks only). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Stephen_C Posted January 5, 2024 Share #2 Posted January 5, 2024 (edited) Have you perhaps adjusted the colour rendering of the display(s)? See page 68 of the downloadable user manual. crouyer Posted January 5, 2024 Author Share #3 Posted January 5, 2024 Thank you Stephen for your answer. The settings in this part are ok, everything is set "by default". C.
Stephen_C Posted January 5, 2024 Share #4 Posted January 5, 2024 What file format are you using (i.e., JPG or DNG)? Does it make any difference if you change the file format? Stephen
Qwertynm Posted January 5, 2024 Share #5 Posted January 5, 2024 (edited) This is quite obvious one but since you didn’t mentioned it specifically: have you tried resetting the camera to factory settings? Edited January 5, 2024 by Qwertynm
crouyer Posted January 8, 2024 Author Share #6 Posted January 8, 2024 Hi there, thank you for your comments @Stephen_C : both JPEG and DNG, no difference when I switch this setup @Qwertynm : Yes, I tried, but it did not make any difference too Could it be an hardware problem ? Have a nice day C.
Qwertynm Posted January 8, 2024 Share #7 Posted January 8, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I‘d take it to the Leica Store and have them look at it and assess whether to send it in or what to do.
Photon42 Posted January 8, 2024 Share #8 Posted January 8, 2024 Any Leica Looks or fancy JPEG settings activated? I know, you sort of ruled it out but maybe worth checking again.
