Leica Q3 - EVF and Screen display cold colors (since a few weeks only)

Hi there,

I have a Q3 since July 2023. Since a few weeks, the colors of the EVF and the screen are really cold, not accurate/realistic at all. I didn't change any setup, and the pictures once downloaded on my computer are good, with the right, realistic, temperature. Sometime when I turn off the camera and turn in on again, the colors are good again, for a few seconds, but then change to cooler ones.

Is there any change in the setup menu I made without remembering it that can explain this behavior ?

Have you perhaps adjusted the colour rendering of the display(s)? See page 68 of the downloadable user manual.

What file format are you using (i.e., JPG or DNG)? Does it make any difference if you change the file format?

This is quite obvious one but since you didn’t mentioned it specifically: have you tried resetting the camera to factory settings?

@Stephen_C : both JPEG and DNG, no difference when I switch this setup

@Qwertynm : Yes, I tried, but it did not make any difference too

Could it be an hardware problem ?

I‘d take it to the Leica Store and have them look at it and assess whether to send it in or what to do.

Any Leica Looks or fancy JPEG settings activated? I know, you sort of ruled it out but maybe worth checking again.
