Words of comfort

I wasn't sure about posting this. I went up to the Cenotaph on remembrance Sunday. I couldn't get near the place until it was all over and done with, but lots of people lingered to read the messages on the wreaths etc.

This old soldier was clearly getting very emotional at the memories evoked by the day - who knows what horrors he witnessed. The man (his son?) pushing his wheelchair was trying to comfort him. I would add that I saw the pair again after a short while and they seemed fine then.
