luigi bertolotti Posted December 30, 2023 Share #2 Posted December 30, 2023 (edited) My feel is that is not for a M camera; and the insert that looks like the recepctacle for a lens , if is really for this, is not for a M lens (I'd say it's too wide) . A case for the first Leicaflex ? I think of first Leicaflex because I checked Leicaflex SL catalogs... apparently not one of the listed cases; also, the leather and inner velvet look early 1960 style, I cannot say anymore... but regards the M or R destination, something could be infered also by exact dimensions... dg4mgr Posted December 30, 2023 Share #4 Posted December 30, 2023 - I haven't seen a M or SL case with his hinged part that opens to the front. - All M or SL cases seem to have either a "Leitz" or "Leica" imprint, not both.
