Hi all,

I recently got S 007 and noted that sometime when switching on the camera it would take for ever to startup (the red light keeps on) and I have to forcefully switch it off by taking the battery out. When the camera boots it looses all the settings and everything (i think) resets to default.

Has anyone ever heard of this issue and any ideas what repairs would cost ?

This could be a mallfunction of the motherboard, best to contact Customer Care at Leica and tell them your issues with the S....

I had that on mine. I e-mailed Leica and they said that it was "a known issue" and fixed it free of charge.

How did they fix it, firmware kind of fix sent to you or did you send the camera in?
