Q3 switches to video…bug?

I just got my Q3 (coming from Q2) and I’ve noticed that the function 2 button will often turn on the video. I programmed the button to zoom/crop but it still switches to video then it will zoom/crop. 

I saw one or two posts about this before, but no real solution. 

Anyone else experience this?

Perhaps you didnt save your new selection properly. I suggest you go back to the manual and try again. 😀

Nope. That’s not it. I RTFM.

Figured it out. Customized function 2 to turn photo/video on then turned it back off. Works fine now. 
 

I guess it’s a bug in the firmware.

I’m having the same problem as you. It’s not saved in my function options but sometimes when I hit the button it immediately switches to video.

Hopefully doing what you said fixes it.

FYI. When I tried to disable it after turning it on, it was telling me “active items cannot be deleted”. I had to hold F2 and switch to something else, then I was able to turn it off in the menu.
