In the Q2, if you got into Focusing > Touch AF in EVF : On and then, when you look through the viewfinder, you can touch the screen and the focusing point will move to where you point the finger. (But will also move to where ever your finger or nose touch the screen).

In the Q3, if you got into Focusing > Touch AF in EVF > On and then, when you look through the viewfinder, you can touch the screen and the focusing point will move to where you point the finger. (But will also move to where ever your finger or nose touch the screen). The Leica Q3 has the added feature that you can put it to "AF Quick Setting only" and then you can double-tab the screen while using the EVF, and then the AF point clicks back to center of the screen (if moved by arrows or otherwise moved away fro the center).
