Geoffreyg, why not schedule a day out with your CL + 55-135MM zoom lens and look for details within an urban or rural landscape, plus a portrait or two, and prepare to be amazed?

Hi Geoffreyg. I don't know if you've made  final decision yet, but in case not, I give another vote for the 18-55mm. For close up (not macro), I also bought an Elpro 52 close up lens, which goes down to 1:2 (see attached table) There's one for sale at Park Cameras for £275. I've been very pleased with the quality (see attached example). Leica say it is 'matched ' to the 18-56 (whatever that means). Other lenses I recommend are the excellent 55-135 mm and 11-23mm lenses. I also have a Minolta Rokkor 250mm mirror lens but that is bit more specialist. There is the possibility of the 23mm f1.4 Sigma recently release which I'm considering and you might want to if you want a fast 35mm equivalent promo lens.
